What is MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and How Do You Use It?

We will refer to the main use of the most commonly used Meta Trader 4 trading platform to do Forex trading for beginners.

•    First of all, to download the transaction platform to your computer, we install the MT4 platform from the intermediary site you are working with. After completing the free download process, you can login to the File-Transaction Account by selecting the Login tab and using the account number and password which sent to you by the broker in the screen below. The registered server will be selected as the server.
•    Once logged in, you will see the Market Watch screen in the left pane of the screen, where the parities are located. To access the prices of all the pairs that the session is active, simply right-click and select Show Top.
•    You can display the graphic of the parity you want to do detailed analysis, you can open the graph by dragging the parity to the empty part of the screen.

You can follow the steps below to open a new transaction;

Right-click on the screen where you see the prices on the left and choose NEW ORDER.

Newly opened window select the parity you want to open in the symbol.

Volume: Choose the volume you want to open. For example; If you choose 1 lot for the EURUSD, you will get 100,000 EUR, if you choose 0.10 lot, you will have 10,000 EUR.

Buy by market: If you think that the price of the parity you trade is going to increase, you have to click on get at buy by market option. When prices go up, it means you are going to have profit.

Sell ​​by market: If you think that the parity price you are trading with will decrease,you need to click on the sell by market option.When prices go up, it means you are going to have profit. When you open a sales transaction, you will profit from falling prices.

To close the transaction which you opened;

   On the terminal screen, when you right-click on the operation and select Close Order, the following screen opens.

   It will suffice to press the Close button indicated by yellow on the incoming screen.
